Kind words!

Andrew Jacobs, who writes for the very awesome 'Stuck In The Past' webzine/blog, took the time to write down a few of his thoughts on the new JC Acoustic LP! Many thanks go to Andrew, and you can check out the SITP blog right here.

"This year marks my 20th anniversary as a Gameface fan, so I've been listening to their records basically since the band's inception in 1990.  One of the highlights for me of seeing my brother's Orange County Hardcore Scenester documentary on the '90s hardcore scene in OC was all of the early '90s live footage of Gameface which I hadn't seen in probably a good 15 years (some of which I filmed to boot).  Needless to say, it made me regret even more the fact that I didn't go see Gameface live after 1994.  But I digress.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Gameface's Always On album, Gameface frontman Jeff Caudill decided to take what little free time he has these days (what with a family, full time job, mortgage, car payments and not one but TWO active bands) and record an all acoustic version of Always On for release on vinyl.  Having recently listened to both versions, I can honestly say that not only did I enjoy the acoustic version more than the original but I also believe that the acoustic version greatly improves upon the original as well.  Then again, I am an almost 41 year old fully domesticated suburbanite, so needless to say, my hard rockin' days are WAY behind me.

This special edition vinyl release is available from Unless You Try Records in your choice of 3 different colors: black, blue and clear.  You can also purchase all 3 colors at a 15% discount.  Additionally, all orders come with a FREE copy of Jeff's Every Last Song album on a vinyl effect CD."
